Yolanda Urrabazo was appointed as Head of Communications and Marketing in September 2023. She comes to the McNay with over 15 years of communications experience at various organizations, including UT’s McCombs School of Business as Director of Communications; The New School as Director of Communications, Alumni Engagement; the Fashion Institute of Technology as Communications Manager, Alumni Relations; as well as GQ and Stella McCartney as a graduate studies intern. Prior to her time in New York City, she served as Press Secretary for Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28) in Washington, D.C.

She received her B.A. in English with a minor in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin and her M.A. in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University.
