Spring Party was the name, Coney Island was the game…literally. Among circus game booths, under Event Ignition’s twinkling lights and their colorful, light-up bracelets, and sporting some of Chic’tique’s finest boardwalk outfits, McNay’s 2016 Coney Island Spring Party was a success, which wouldn’t have been possible without the continued support of Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, and our chairs: Emma and Rene Farret!

Our marketing materials were created in-house, in full Coney Island fashion, with the support of our sponsors Prism IT Technologies and Dahill Office Technologies to help make them possible, and the guests flooded in on Friday night. They walked into the AT&T Lobby and through Great Events’ brightly colored linens, on which sat many fabulous silent auction items from Kendra Scott, Whataburger, Energy Fitness, and other local businesses.

Event Planner Jamie Waltman with Cordially Invited brought the vision of Coney Island to life by contracting Circus Picnic’s talented acrobats, fire dancers, a living statue, and a knife juggler. Guests tapped their feet and full-out boogied to the tunes of Wino Vino sponsored by Musical Bridges Around the World.

Among all of the excitement, our Coney Island guests wanted for nothing. Spice of Life provided a Coney Island-inspired menu alongside beer graciously donated by Alamo Beer Co., and Juniper Tar kept it fresh at the drink station with three boardwalk-inspired cocktails — the Coneycicle, Stilt Walker Lemonade, and Coney Island Iced Tea.

The whole night was filled with top-notch entertainment and everyone looked amazing in their Coney Island best. http://www.mysanantonio.com/entertainment/things-t…

Yelp also made an appearance after being an awesome partner who worked with us in getting the word out through social media and checked guests in at the party.

And at the end of the night, the guests were sent home with a tasty cookie snack courtesy of Cookie Cab!

The San Antonio Current photographed all the guests that stepped up to their eye-catching photo booth, so don’t forget to go check out all of those pictures here! http://photos.sacurrent.com/moments-coney-island-s…

And how did we get those strings of carnival lights up there? Sunbelt gave us the lift we needed to reach our “highest” potential!

Last but certainly not least, we’d like to extend a special thanks to the Pichler Family, Traci Nix, and Emma and Toby Calvert for their tremendous amount of support!

Below is the video from Circus Picnic of the entire event. Check it out!
